One or several single trees selected. Biomass per tree collected manually and weighted
Per parcel (e.g. 100m2) in bags
One or several parcels selected. Each parcel several trees. Biomass per parcel collected manually and weighted
Per several rows (or in whole field)
On large parcel, or a whole field is selected. Biomass collected and loaded to a truck. Weight of the load taken ia a scale for trucks
Total Area measured (m2) : 10000
Ammount of prunings obtained (t/ha)Specify the tonnes per hectare of prunings collected from the crop
Losses of prunings that weren't harvested (t/ha)

It is the fourth demonstartion performed at 20/4/2018 by CERTH and INASO-PASEGES in the region of Sparti.
In the framework of this demonstration 3 different type of tractors have been used. The first one was a New Holland, ~70 hp tractor which was used for the needs of the static chipper. The other two were Ford, ~47 and 50 hp tractors, which were used in order to transport the chippers in the final storage side of the EAS Lakonias cooperative.
